The Ice Spire

I haven't posted in a while, so I thought I would throw up the final render for "The Ice Spire", a conceptual illustration for my design course. The composition was not my first choice, but we were supposed to allow the class as a whole to guide our decision on the matter of composition and color scheme. All in all, I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out, and there is very little I would do to change it. It was started and completed in Photoshop CS4 in approx. 8 hours.

Hmmm... I just noticed the similarity between this painting and the one I did for my final project in my perspective class... I guess I have a thing for spires... or phallic imagery....

looks nice man, good work its really clean and the perspective is perfect. but the overall image seem alittle borin i know its just a perceptive drawing im just saying give it some drama or something, also the rain i kno the close up are larger but you might have too much thick lines for the rain. i dont kno what else to say the image is basic, like u said its a perspective study the details are nice i think the neon sign can sldo glow alittle more have some reflective lights or something, idk but ya it looks good the perspective is great.
